ANTHONY STOKES has got off to a rather promising start in Iran after the player netted with a thunderous strike from outside the box on his debut.
The former Celtic striker surprised many when he decided to sign up with John Toshak’s side Tractor Sazi.
The Irishman had a recent spell in Greece where he failed to score before going awol and being sacked.
Before that he was shown the door at Hibernian for his off field antics by Neil Lennon.
Is he about to settle in the most unlikeliest of places.
