Celtic are really lacking in attacking options over the last few weeks with the squad cursed with one injury after the other.

For today’s visit of Dundee United in the SPFL, Celtic boss, Ange Postecoglou has made only one change to the team that started against Raith Rovers on Thursday in the Premier Sports Cup.

Josip Juranovic who came on from the bench in the 3-0 win over Raith is back in the starting line-up while young Adam Montgomery will take up a place in the dugout where he and Stephen Welsh were joined by another Celtic Academy product Owen Moffat.

Celtic scored at the perfect time today with Dundee United in the game until the 16th Minute when a Jota cross found Abada to head the ball into the net and make it 1-0.

The lead lasted two minutes before Harkes made it 1-1 with a copycat move and goal at the other end.

  1. Ajeti couldn’t lead the line for Stranraer. The defence is shocking yet Ange appears oblivious to it all. Will get a doing on Thursday with this team. Ange should have taken Ajeti off, introduced Moffat and played Jota as our main striker. As for our coaches Kennedy and Strachan does anybody know what they do. Must rank up there as the worst of all time.

  2. The BOARD are culpable. Ange is a nice guy but a Celtic Manager? Joe Hart couldn’t give you a tour of the ground and he’s made club captain? Again a nice guy. The injuries like Chris Julien’s come from poor play and short passes and defenders under pressure as lack experience. Turnbull has been average, Ajeti has been woeful. We still have Kennedy and Strachan because the Board want them there and the manager has made compromises that Rogers and Howe would not accept. Where is the organisation and coaching?
