Celtic took another huge step towards the SPFL title on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides had their chances to win the game. Celtic had a lot of the first half while The Rangers came into the game in the second and played like a team who knew they NEEDED the win.

In the end, Celtic managed to stave of a late salvo by the away side and took a valuable point on the way to winning this SPFL title.

It was another failure for the Ibrox club who haven’t beaten Celtic in the league since August 2021.

One thing we’ve noticed in recent times, the Ibrox club have been desperate to find their version of Scott Brown. So many players have come and gone in that side and they try to build up someone as hard man. Plastic hard men aren’t difficult to come by.

The midfielder could not affect the game and help contribute towards a win that would’ve given them a slight chance at the title.

What’s more, watch the midfielder be dropped by wee Kyogo during the game on Sunday. It’s all a bit pathetic. He’s either took a dive, or the lad has a seriously low pain threshold.

Celtic are now champions in waiting. The Hoops have gone on an incredible 29 game unbeaten run in the SPFL. What a season it has been and while a victory on the day would have been nice, Celtic won the previous two SPFL derbies that have propelled them to the title.
