Celtic picked up their first piece of silverware under Ange Postecoglou — but it was a hard fought victory at Hampden.

Hibernian took the lead in the second half, much to the delight of the travelling support.

The Hibs end was rocking and they were getting ramped up for a potential trophy win.

It lasted all of 14 seconds.

Check out the footage from the Hibs end just after they had put the ball in the back of the net. They had very little time to do anything before Kyogo had brought Celtic level.

Celtic won the game 2-1 thanks to an unfit Kyogo Furuhashi. The player scored two outstanding goals on the day and delivered Ange’s first silverware of the season.

The Hibs fans will always have those 14 seconds or so of being ahead before the Hoops went up the gears and won the game.

It’s now back to domestic action for both sides this week. There are still more games to be played before the winter break.

  1. They were too busy crying their eyes out. Get a grip Hibs, you were all too busy crying at the ref, when Super Celt Kyogo lobbed in the winner. Porteous was poor too busy being the hard man, Best man in the Hibs team was their Captain, the rest were average.
