Celtic star Jota is the man of the moment at Celtic. The player has been a sensation since signing for the club and again got on the scoresheet as we grabbed another deserved victory against Aberdeen.
The player is also game for a laugh and his appearance in the Celtic Christmas ad, dressing up as George Michael for the annual event.
However, he won’t be thanking the Celtic View or the Celtic fan who asked if he’s ever tried Irn Bru!
The winger had a sit-down interview with the view for the Christmas special. The magazine is now a quarterly subscription instead of weekly.
Jota wasn’t sure what Irn Bru was and when he was handed the bottle, he didn’t look over enamoured with it.
The winger revealed he doesn’t drink alcohol or fizzy drinks, and when he tasted Irb Bru, his face dropped. It’s not for him!
He scored the opener to help the Celts defeat Aberdeen, but Jota definitely prefers to keep his fizz on the park ??

I’m all for Celtic players not drinking Irn Bru. The Scottish drink might be a staple of many diets in this country but it’s not conducive to athletes being at their best!
Fair play to Jota for trying it,
