Celtic took the lead at Rugby Park within the first seven minutes thanks to a goal made in Japan.

Daizen Maeda with the assist as Kyogo ran onto the ball, hitting the post on the way in. Celtic’s quick start rattled the home side who were hoping to frustrate the Scottish champions for as long as possible.

It was Kyogo’s first touch of the game!

Daizen and Kyogo are preferred to Abada and Giakoumakis by Ange in the starting XI, the goal vindicating the Celtic manager’s decision.

It’s the Celtic striker’s second goal of the season after opening the scoring at Ross County last week.

Kyogo is lethal in front of goal, his movement allowing him to get into space to pull the trigger. The Japanese star has made it clear he wants to hit over 20 goals this season and he’s on his way for sure.

Not to be upstaged, Jota came up with another incredible strike to make it 2-0 to the champions! Pick this out!

Celtic are a side on a mission. They don’t look like a team happy to sit on what they did last season. Instead, they’re tormenting defensive side and whole teams set up to defend and frustrate.

Celtic weren’t done in the first half, they’d score another through Moritz Jenz who scored a bicycle kick just before half time. Celtic are simply outstanding.
