The World XI beat an England XI on Sunday night in a charity match for Unicef at Stamford Bridge. It was a star-studded affair with celebs and former players coming together in the name of charity.

Although it was for a great cause both sides took the game very seriously. The World XI which had Eric Cantona, Roberto Carlos, Usain Bolt and Robbie Keane to name a few forced the game to penalties after a late equaliser to make it 2-2.

The World XI won the penalty shootout with England the big losers. After the game the celebrations when on into the night and on the bus ride back to the hotel it would be the Irish contingent along with Line of Duty man, Martin Compston of the World XI who would start belting out ‘The Fields of Athenry’ on the bus!

Compston wore the number 67 jersey on the night to pay homage to the Lisbon Lions.
