Patryk Klimala scored two goals for Celtic this afternoon against Hibernian in the club’s final preseason game before the real football begins on Sunday.

The bhoys went down 1-0 but goals from Karamoko Dembele and a brace from Patryk Klimala saw Celtic get a 3-1 win.

Klimala’s first goal was really all about the returning Leigh Griffiths and his outstanding bit of skill to evade the defender, the ball was rolling in when Patryk showed his true poaching skills by taking the goal for himself.

The Pole’s second goal was a fantastically placed header from a corner and will certainly give Neil Lennon food for thought going into the new season.

This was all about the fringe players getting a runout and there were certainly standouts. Leigh coming on in the second half changed the game and looked great, Klimala just wouldn’t stop running. Soro put in a top shift and Connell’s second half performance was of a good quality.

  1. If Polish Paddie can put up with all the late tackles and elbowing and anti Celtic stuff. He should do well. New Vuduks perhaps. He’s got the build now. Him, Griffo and Mr Edd. Where’s the league trophy bound then????
Hopefully Paradise. And see how the Hoops do in European competitions, that would be a headache worth having. But first things first and blitz the paupers.
