Luca Connell scored on Tuesday night for his loan side Queens Park and what a goal it was.

The midfielder drove from the middle of the park then scored an absolute cracker against Albion Rovers.

Luca also grabbed an assist during the games as Queens Park ran out 3-0 winners.

That’s one goal and two assists for the Irish under 21 international.

Connell was given the opportunity to go out and get some games in his legs and he’s taken that chance and making the most of it.

Tuesday was his 12th competitive first team game; 10 for Bolton and 2 for Queens Park.

There’s no doubt Luca can play at a higher level than where he currently finds himself but the player’s attitude and application right now will go a long way.

Hopefully he can head back to Celtic in the summer and push for a place in the squad.
