Mikael Lustig signed off as a Celtic player two seasons ago when his headed clearance turned into the perfect assist for Odsonne Edouard to claim the winning goal against Hearts in the treble treble final at Hampden.
A lot has changed since then, and the biggest change of all is about to take place on Saturday when Scott Brown hangs up his hoops.
Fourteen years after shocking Scottish football and Ibrox fans who chanted his name from the terraces – Scott Brown will sign off from Celtic as their second most successful captain.
Mikael and Brown were as thick as thieves during their time at the club and would lead the team in winding up the opposition.
In true Lustig fashion, the Swede was at the wind up at the start of his message to the outgoing Celtic captain. With a bald cap and pairs of glasses, the hoops favourite wished his friend all the best and thanked him for the memories.
