MIKEY JOHNSTON knows this will be a big season for him and if his first contribution of this campaign is anything to go by he could be in for a topper of a campaign.

The youngster made a goal out of nothing when Celtic were in need of some inspiration during the first half of their tie against Sarajevo in Bosnia.

The home side took the lead with poor defending from a corner, but Johnston dragged his side back into things with a long range effort.

The game has gone in 1-1 at the break and while it’s not been a blistering start for this Celtic side, the positive signs are there for the second.

Johnston came more and more into the game in the first 45 minutes and started to terrorise Sarajevo players. Hopefully the bhoys can kick on in the second half and get the win to take back to Paradise.
