MIKEY JOHNSTON scored a brace on Saturday afternoon, netting twice for Portuguese side Vitória S.C.

The winger is on a season-long loan in Portugal, with Postecoglou keen to get some consistent minutes into the player. It wouldn’t be possible at Celtic, so to get him out on loan suits all parties.

It was a first-half brace for the Scotsman; just take a look at this strike:

Celtic’s wingers have been in great form lately, with five players all playing well.

Maeda scored his first goal of the season on Saturday afternoon, while Forrest netted a hat trick. Haksabanovic has been great in his few games, whether he’s playing the number 10 role or on the left. Jota and Abada have been great too, but the Portuguese star is sidelined with an injury at the moment.

It’s going to be hard to break into the Celtic side when he returns from loan, and unrealistic for him to do so. It’ll be interesting to see what happens beyond this season, but he has to keep performing for his club.
