NEIL LENNON spoke after his side drew 1-1 with French side Nice on Thursday night.

The Irishman was happy with the evenings work inside the Groupana stadium after losing a first half goal.

Celtic took the lead in the third minute but the goal was wrongfully chopped off by VAR after minutes of looking through the footage.

The manager is spot on.

Celtic looked very sharp in the first half before they conceded. The goal conceded will be a big disappointment because the bhoys were the better team for most of the first half.

The starting XI was very strong with the Celtic gaffer going back to a 4-3-3 after spending the first three months of 2020 playing a 3-5-2. With no Leigh Griffiths in the squad, the manager is less likely to utilise that formation. Klimala will have to prove he can be trusted in the role before the manager will consider that partnership.
