HYEONGYU OH scored his first goal in Celtic colours as the side defeated St Mirren 5-1 on the Scottish Cup.

The Korean striker was first to move in the box, pouncing on the goalkeeper’s spillage from Callum McGregor’s shot. His reaction allowed him an open goal to aim for, to open his scoring account with the reigning Scottish champions.

With Kyogo injured, Oh was led to the front of the squad by Joe Hart to lead the post-match celebrations.

Kyogo’s injury could allow Oh the chance to lead the line from the start against Aberdeen next weekend, with the Celtic boss confirming the Japanese striker required further examinations after he picked up a shoulder injury in the opening phase of the match.

Oh has looked good so far, with many aspects of his game pleasing the fans. Now that he has his first goal, he can kick on and build himself up to full match fitness.
