I can’t think of a player that deserved a goal more to break the deadlock in the first-half today at Paradise. Jeremie Frimpong has been terrifying Hibs defenders today and has got Celtic fans off their seats on more than one occasion.
Edouard, McGregor and Ntcham have all had half-chances in front of goal but it was Edouard’s through ball to Frimpong that broke the deadlock at Celtic Park.

From a neutral point of view, this has been a decent game of ball. Hibs have not closed up shop as so many other visiting teams do, they have not just sat behind the ball in Jack Ross fashion they are playing to win. Celtic have had the better of the chances and most of the ball but Hibs have threatened a few times.
Celtic will need the second goal in the second half as there looks like there could be a goal in this Hibs team.
Frimpong has already picked up a few man of the match awards this season and if he plays in the first half the way he did in the second he’ll be on the champagne again tonight.
