Celtic and Liverpool played a charity match at Anfield with a whole host of charities set to benefit from the day.

It was a great day out for all, and the game finished 2-0 to Liverpool. The story of the day was undoubtedly the Celtic fans.

The bhoys took over 4k supporters down south, and many were dotted around the stadium for the game that had 40k plus in attendance on the day.

The Hoops support is brilliant wherever they go and today was no different. Despite the lack of goals from the Celtic team, the fans were in great voice throughout.

Stan Petrov captained the Celtic side and played centre-back!

Here they are doing the huddle during the game.

The Celtic Foundation have been outstanding in helping get this game off the ground and we’re delighted it has been attended so well. The crowd got together twice during the game, one for you’ll never walk alone and the other singing a certain song about the Tories!

We had Steven Gerrard score for Liverpool from the penalty spot and shush the Celtic support, who were giving it stinkin’ to the former Ibrox boss.

There are still more opportunities to donate money to the fantastic day. The jerseys for today’s game will be auctioned off to raise even more funds.
