Celtic ran out 2-0 winners against Hibernian on Monday evening as Celtic got off to a winning start in 2022.
The story of the game was about Celtic’s new bhoys, it was Daizen Maeda who got a debut goal but Reo Hatate earned the plaudits for his overall performance.
The attacking midfielder went straight into the starting XI and didn’t disappoint. His movement, ability to pick a pass and energy in the middle of the park was brilliant.
Reo had such a good game he won the man of the match inside the stadium. When it was announced and he heard his name, he wasn’t sure why his name was being called out. James Forrest was caught by the Celtic TV cameras telling Reo he had won man of the match and it’s the wholesome content we all love to see.
He looked delighted.

Celtic had a blistering first half against Hibernian, the game went flat a bit in the second half but the bhoys saw the game out the game, keeping a clean sheet in the process.
