Owen Moffat looks like a real player and someone who is destined to make it to the Celtic first team.

The players ability on the ball and his eye for a goal is certainly helping him stand out in the Celtic B team.

On Saturday, the Celtic youngster scored a sensational goal against Dalbeattie in the B side’s 4-2 victory in the Scottish Lowland League.

Just take a look at this!

Owen is working hard behind the scenes to make a big impression with the first team coaches. If he plays his cards right the winger could find himself in Ange’s pre-season plans ahead of next season.

He’s still very much a work in progress but there are great signs there already.

Of course, there’s lots of players who show early potential only to fall by the wayside. Timing can be everything, but if you have the talent, the application and attitude to succeed, you give yourself a very good chance of carving out a career.

Celtic don’t know if they’ll be able to field a team in the Lowland league next season. There will be a vote among the league on Monday to determine the future of the Celtic B side in the competition.

It was a one off agreement for this season and if there’s to be any longer arrangement, we’ll find out in the coming days.
