SCOTT SINCLAIR ended his three and a half year stay with Celtic last week when he joined Preston – heading back down south.

The player had been surplus to requirements at the club and felt it was best to move on in search of first team football.

The winger was a firm fan favourite at Parkhead and the chant the Green Brigade came up for him back in 2016 went viral and was regularly sung at both home and away matches every time Scott Sinclair found the net. The new year fixture against The Ranger sat Ibrox comes to mind when he scored the winner and 8,000 Tims drowned out the home support in spectacular fashion.

The Preston fans have picked up where the Celtic fans left off – after getting wind of the chant, they’ve made sure it will keep going. It’s just too good a song to let die.

And to be honest, this is some effort by the Preston fans.

This was at Blackburn away with Sinclair making his debut coming off the bench. The game ended 1-1.
