RONNY DEILA brought his famous ‘Ronny Roar’ to the Jupiler Pro League at the weekend after registering his first victory as boss of Standard Liege.
The former Celtic manager took over the Belgian side in the summer, leaving New York City FC after a successful spell in the States.
Ronny is tasked with improving Standard Liege’s fortunes and he’s found it tough going early on.
The Norwegian has managed four points from his first three matches.
The win against Cercle Brugge was a big one for the club and after the match, Ronny gave the home crowd a roar.
Lots of Celtic fans have left messages underneath the club’s official video showing their support for the former Parkhead gaffer.
Ronny is still very much a fan favourite at Celtic Park. During his two year spell at the club, the manager brought home back to back titles and was famously robbed of the chance of a treble during a ridiculously called semi-final against Inverness.
We wish him all the best in Belgium.
