Ryan Christie fired Scotland into the lead at Hampden with a quality penalty on Friday evening.

There is a good Celtic presence at Hampden for Scotland but also Israel with Bitton and Elhamed starting for their country.

Celtic will be back in action a week on Saturday and for now our international stars are looking to make their mark for their respective countries.

Shane Duffy, Patryk Klimala, Odsonne Edouard and now Ryan Christie have all found the net this week.

Ryan has been ever-present for the bhoys since Neil Lennon took over – preferred over Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic.

It’s a big season for Celtic and we hope Christie and co will continue their form back to club level.

When Celtic do return, there could be two debutants lining up with Christie; Duffy and Turnbull both have the chance to pull on the hoops. With three games in seven days coming up, they will both likely see game time.
