A video has emerged of a small group of Celtic supporters defying police calls to stay away from the ground to protest the board.

Last week Neil Lennon took a lot of the flak but this week, the small group who did show up amid a heavy police presence chanted the club was in the wrong hands.

They also had some choice words for Peter Lawwell.

The strength of ill-feeling in the support towards the board has grown daily since they doubled down on Neil Lennon’s role at the club after protests last week.

From the outside looking in, it appears as if the club were reluctant to make changes because the didn’t want to be seen to react to an angry mob. In reality, most people protesting last week were civil and were there to ask for change, their presence a protest in itself. There were some who crossed the line but they shouldn’t dictate what happens at our club.

Tonight, the heat gets ramped up even more with another draw and the club looking like it’s business as usual apart from the heavy police presence they’ve employed for the game.

  1. You’re bang on here Mr Ross, every supporter who pays there wack has a right to let their feelings known, but the hand full of fans who bring our club down should be vilified by the faithful.

I can in some way understand how they feel. They maybe went to their first game aged 13 or 14 with their dad and now they’re 22 or 23 and know nothing more about going to CP than party time.

The support in their 40, 50, 60yr range have been through the great times and the worse in Scottish football history, some witnessing the glorious 67 and the following nine in a row, the magic of Jinky, Lennox, Auld, Murdoch, McNeil and later Dalgleish, Hay, McGrain and McStay, to name a few.
A miserable glorious Monday night when 10 men won the league, Big Cesar’s Centenary Double!

But they also seen the currants cheat us out of outrageous honours, their nine is one of the most scandalous cheating sporting crimes in footballing history.

The ABC (anybody but Celtic) years had to be seen to be believed!

To be a young Celtic supporter and live the second world record nine, an unprecedented treble treble, one of which ‘INVINCIBLE!’ and a possible Quad treb??
Nine years ago I would have given my left but for that!

They really don’t know they’re living.
No excuses for recent results, but really, you can’t realistically expect to win everything for ever!

As I said, no excuses for recent results, but some, and I use the word ‘some’ advisedly, really need to grow up.
