Thousands of Celtic supporters gathered outside Celtic Park tonight as the Celtic Fans Collective staged a major anti-board protest before the Premiership clash with Falkirk.

The atmosphere on the Celtic Way was electric and defiant, as supporters made it clear that their patience with those running the club has run out.

Flares, chants, and a sea of green and white scarves filled the front of the stadium, with fans holding anti-board pamphlets high in the air. Smoke drifted across the Celtic Way as the chants grew louder, demanding accountability and transparency from the hierarchy. The message was unmistakable — supporters want change, and they want their voices heard.

The protest, organised by the Celtic Fans Collective, has been building momentum for weeks following growing frustration over the club’s direction and leadership. The group, which represents several supporter organisations, has accused the board of losing touch with the fanbase and failing to back managers properly in key moments.

A spokesperson for the Collective addressed the crowd with a megaphone, thanking those who turned up and calling on fans to continue standing together. The chants grew more intense as flares lit up the night sky, with the words “This is Celtic. This is our club” echoing through the air.

This was not a token gesture, it was a clear and united statement from the support. Fans have had enough of what they see as complacency, mixed messaging, and decisions made behind closed doors.

The Collective’s demonstration showed the strength of feeling within the support and the determination to demand a higher standard from those in charge.

As the smoke cleared and the songs faded, one thing was certain, the Celtic support has spoken. Their message to the board was loud, clear, and impossible to ignore: the club belongs to the people, and it’s time for change at the top.

  2. Impressive numbers at the protest but hard to see how it succeeds.

And please, can a grown-up from the Celtic Fan Collective, tell the wee neds to put away their pyro toys. It truly is pathetic, adds nothing and actually undermines the serious intent to effect change in the boardroom
