Celtic looked flat on Wednesday night in Paisley and the 0-0 scoreline against St Mirren reflected a hard watch.
Today however against St Johnstone the Bhoys looked like they arrived with sharpened tools. Despite another depleted matchday squad and unusual starting eleven, the team pinged the ball about like they had been playing together week in week out for months.
Celtic are playing a 3-5-2 formation today and Juranovic and Abada combined just before the ten-minute mark to give the Celts a 1-0 lead.

Two minutes later and Kyogo could have made it two after a cross unexpectedly found its way into him but he could only head wide. Unfortunately, that was Kyogo’s last real involvement in the game after he pulled up holding his hamstring after chasing a James McCarthy ball. Fifteen minutes in and the Celtic hamstring curse has struck once again.
Celtic fans will have wanted a goal cushion to keep the anxiety down to a minimum with such a threadbare team today and Liel Abada delivered just after twenty minutes. Perfect control and weighted pass from Rogic to give the Israeli his second goal of the afternoon.

Abada had two decent chances two bag himself a hattrick before the half finished but was denied by Parish in the Saints goal.
Celtic have played some unbelievable attacking football in the first half considering a patched-up team on a horrible pitch.
More of the same for the second half, please.
