Neil Lennon will be hoping his team walk off the park today with three points and no fresh injury concerns before his team line out at Ibrox next Sunday for the fourth Glasgow Derby of the season.

It is all so far so good at Paradise at the moment as the Champions are playing to open up a sixteen point gap in the league table. The Hoops have had several chances already to put this game to bed and settle everyone down on and off the park as they hold on to a 1-0 lead thanks to Leigh Griffiths. Celtic’s attacking play in the first half has bamboozled St Mirren players at times but until that second goal went in nobody can relax properly.

Edouard and Griffiths linked up brilliantly for the first goal but this time it was the turn of Tom Rogic to set Leigh up for his brace. The footwork from Leigh in the build-up shows someone full of confidence at the moment.

This leaves Lennon with a big choice to make for next Sunday. Can he leave Leigh Griffiths on the bench? The striker has another 45 minutes to grab a hattrick and push his case even further. The Bhoys lead 2-0 at halftime.
