CELTIC made it two wins out of two in the SPFL this weekend when they came from behind to smash Motherwell 5-2 in a scintillating second half display.
The bhoys conceded the first goal but it was only a minute and a half later when the champions equalised after a quality pass from James Forrest put Kristoffer Ajer through on goal. The centre-half who was playing at right-back for the day slotting it home to put the bhoys back on level terms.
Before the break Celtic would pull ahead when Leigh Griffiths spotted a gap between the goalkeeper and defensive wall at a set-piece – firing Neil Lennon’s men ahead on the day.
From there they never looked back and scored another three goals before Motherwell would reply with a second consolation goal in the dying embers of the game.
Another three points for Celtic and the team isn’t at full strength yet.
