Celtic youngster Lee O’Connor made his full Ireland debut before he’s even kicked a ball for the Celtic first team and had a great game for his country.
The defender capped it off by making a sensational assist to help make it 3-1 to Ireland on the night against a New Zealand side who took the lead.
Take a look at the quality of cross O’Connor puts into the box here for Ireland’s third.

Lee can play centre-back or right-back meaning Celtic have a fourth option in the right-back position after having zero in the summer.
O’Connor came from Manchester Utd this summer and was earning rave reviews down south from Utd fans about his potential. It was a shock to some when Utd let O’Connor go without a fight and let him join Celtic.
After watching him for Ireland, it could only be a matter of time before he makes the jump up to first team Celtic football.
