PATRYK KLIMALA came off the bench to score for the Poland Under 21s against Latvia in Tuesday night with the frontman on the winning side of a 3-1 result.

The striker hasn’t seen much game time at Celtic as of late but he took his opportunity when he came on for his country; scoring less than ten minutes after he came onto the field.

All Celtic strikers are fit at the moment and now Neil Lennon has reverted to one up front, it means the Polish star has fell down the pecking order with game time tougher to come by.

The player is still young and learning and should be using his time to develop; making it tough for Neil Lennon to leave him out the side in the coming weeks and moths.

Klimala has been at Celtic nearly a year now, having signed back in January. His progress was hampered by the shut down but the player did come back to training after lockdown looking like had bulked up and used his time wisely.

He has got among the goals for Celtic already this term and, who knows, there might just be a few more before all is said and done.

The bhoys kick off against Hibernian on Saturday, it’s more than likely Paddy will start on the bench. Edouard broke the goal scoring record for France under 21s this week and will be a front runner to start for Celtic at Easter Road.

  1. Polish Paddie now fits into the Stillian Petrov mantle. So just him and five other players to choose from, for center mid.. If the Hoops can’t play him. Then maybe a loan is on the cards for Paddie.
