Former Celtic and Real Madrid player Thomas Gravesen was a pundit for Danish TV on Thursday night as the bhoys took on Copenhagen in the Europa League last 32.

The game ended 1-1 on the night with Celtic playing a great first half while Copenhagen certainly won the second forty-five minutes.

It leaves it all up for grabs at Celtic Park next week but the 3000 Celtic supporters in attendance did get to cheer twice on the night with Celtic’s goal and Fraser Forster’s amazing penalty save.

Before the game, Celtic fans noticed Gravesen in the gantry and grabbed the former Celtic player’s attention. He responded by smiling and then pointing to his heart as he acknowledged the Celtic support.

Gravesen was signed under Gordon Strachan and was seen as a marquee signing for the club at the time. It never really worked out for the player and while he was on the books two seasons he spent the second out on loan to Everton.

He was quite the character when he was up in Scotland though.
