Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton was stopped by police at Oakwell amid an investigation into an alleged assault on Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel. The incident was alleged to have happened after Barnsley’s 4-2 League One win over Fleetwood.

According to Sky, an assault allegedly occurred as they were making their way back to the dressing rooms. Fleetwood staff were reportedly upset with Barnsley media staff.

The Fleetwood manager is just one of many Ibrox players who promised to put Scott Brown in their place only to be sent running back to England with his tail between his legs.

Brown made a mockery of Barton in the Englishman’s first and last Glasgow derby. He was so bad even the Rangers didn’t want him after he went about abusing his own teammates. Bad news follows him everywhere he goes, it’s surprising any football club wants to touch him.
