After a whole summer of uncertainty Virgil van Dijk has finally signed for Southampton in a deal worth upwards of £11.5 million in what had to be the worst kept secret of the transfer window.
The Dutch defender who has been outstanding since he joined Celtic will now join up with former teammate Fraser Forster and will also have the chance to play with another former Celt in Victor Wanyama.
He has signed a 5-year-deal with the Premiership club and we at Celtsarehere.com wish him all the best.
