CELTIC caught everyone by surprise on Hogmanay by announcing THREE Japanese signings.
We knew all three were on Celtic’s radar and looking likely to come in but we didn’t envision them all being announced at once the day before the window officially opens.
Celtic have made a real statement of intent with these signings.
What about the nitty-gritty details of all three transfers.
Daizen Maeda has come in on an initial six-month loan deal, however, Celtic have a compulsory purchase on the striker’s loan deal that will see him become a permanent member of the squad in the summer.
What a statement. @celticfc

The two other boys Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate have been signed permanently; both on four and a half year deals.
It’s a massive statement by the club who are looking to get their business done very early.
These lads will likely be part of the Celtic squad as soon as we kick off again on January 17th.
THere could be a good few debuts against Hibernian that day.
