Wakaso Mubarak has started his Celtic career brightly with scoring a goal on his debut against Salzburg to generally looking lively going forward.

The on-loan midfielder definitely has the pace that Ronny Deila has been looking for going down the wing and while we haven’t seen a lot of him yet he looks like he could be a stand out this season.

He seems to be very enthusiastic about his opportunity with the Scottish Champions and is determined to show his worth to the fans. Ronny Deila rates the player very highly and sees him as a big part of his plans as he tries to strike the balance in his Celtic team.

The 24 year old has played a lot of his club football in Spain having spells with Elche, Villareal and Espanyol before he moved to Russia last year.

The Ghanaian internationalist is on loan from Rubin Kazan where he has been deemed surplus to requirements. Celtic have first option on the player at the end of the season if they wish to take him on in a permanent basis.
