Get French Football are Reporting Wanyama and his agent are currently negotiating the terms of his release from Spurs after a loan move to Amiens didn’t work out.
GFF report the move broke down because Spurs moved the goal post last minute.

It has now transpired the Kenyan and his club are now in talks to terminate his deal which runs until 2021. If they can do the deal and put the paper work through before 11pm then Wanyama would be free to sign for anyone he likes in the coming days and weeks.

There was hope Celtic were going to come in for the player but it never materialised.
The bhoys do have other positions to strengthen but Wanyama coming Would have been a fantastic boost to the team and support.
We wonder how this will all play out. Elsewhere former Celt Filip Benkovic has move to a Bristol City on loan.
