CELTIC have taken the very conscious decision NOT to post anything on Twitter today. A theme that has been prevalent through the season, the team loses and the club fall silent on that particular platform.
However, when it comes to the fabled Happy Birthday posts, Celtic make sure they get them in somewhere.
Instagram was the location for Celtic posts this morning; both Karamoko Dembele and Ryan Christie are celebrating birthdays and the club made sure to wish them well.
However, while Instagram has less colourful language when it comes to users, users of the platform certain still have an opinion.
The comments under Dembele’s birthday message said it all. The young winger has not been able to get a sniff at the first team this season. Even with the season over, the young players underneath aren’t getting a game.
It’s probably a self-fulfilling prophecy now – Dembele wants to leave because he isn’t getting a chance and now he’s not getting a chance because he wants to leave the club.
He’s a cert to leave this summer and fans are frustrated, some branding him a wasted talent and others still imploring the manager to play the youngster.
