CELTIC fans have been reacting to the news their former hero Paddy Roberts has downgraded further from Norwich to Middlesbrough for the second half of the season after struggling to make the breakthrough at Carrow Road.
Since leaving Celtic, the winger has found a place to call home hard to come by and surprised many when he signed a new deal with City to then get sent out on loan to Norwich this term. This was after a less than fruitful loan move to La Liga last term.
The Englishman has been desperate to crack the premier League but seems less than confident in his own ability or is just being advised badly by taking up a new deal with City while being punted out on loan over and over again.
Roberts was an invincible hero at Celtic but he actively pursued a different path after his final season with the Scottish Champions and wasn’t prepared to stay.
His first team opportunities and injury problems have been an issue. However, nobody could have foreseen the winger having to set up camp in Middlesbrough. We wish him all the best but at this moment in time, his decision making has let him down
