CELTIC TARGET Timothy Castagne stunned Juventus on Wednesday night and helped Atalanta on their way to a victory over the old lady.

Reports yesterday claimed Celtic had another bid for the player thrown out by the Italian side and when he does something like this, it only puts his price up on deadline day.

Castagne was thought to be one of Celtic’ top target’s this window but Atalanta has held firm with their valuation of the player. The Belgian may be second string at right back for the club but he has played the last five games consecutively at left back and Atalanta hasn’t lost.

Celtic have turned their attention to Jeremy Toljan but will the club be tempted to go back in one more time for Timothy before all is said and done after watching this?

*Limited Edition: Only 200 available.

There less than 24 hours to go until the window closes and Celtic are looking at their options. Fans are desperate to see some quality signings.

The player was bought by Atalanta from Genk in 2017 for £5.4million and it’s unlikely they’ll take less than double that.
