Anyone who hoped for a high-scoring affair on Flag Day would’ve walked away from Celtic Park pleased on Saturday afternoon. A 4-2 win for the Bhoys got their season off to the perfect start as Kyogo, Matt O’Riley and David Turnbull got on the scoresheet.

Soon after, a sweeping move saw Liel Abada cross for the talismanic Kyogo who couldn’t really miss after finding space in the box:

Turnbull then added a third just before half time. The 24-year-old tapped in at the back post after Matt O’Riley showed great persistence out wide:

County got one back just before the hour although O’Riley restored the champions’ lead on 73 minutes, the Dane thundering home from just inside the box:

After this, the visitors did get one back late on but it was majorly insignificant. Celtic ran out worthy winners and got their season off to the perfect start as a result of today’s win.
