Celtic all but wrapped up the Scottish Premiership title with a thrilling 3-2 Glasgow derby victory this afternoon.

The Hoops are now 12 points clear at the top of the table with seven games to go.

Kyogo opened the scoring midway through the first half.

The Japanese received the ball from Matt O’Riley in the box and managed to turn after he had his back to goal and thunder home:

Rangers equalised just before half time but “” into the second 45, Celtic’s talismanic Japanese frontman struck again.

Jota worked hard on the bye-line to coax opposition defenders into a costly error which saw the ball fall to Kyogo.

The centre forward clinically fired through the legs of Allan McGregor to restore Celtic’s one goal advantage:

2-1 up, Ange Postecoglou’s men hunted for a third which eventually came on 73 minutes.

It was yet another costly error from the Rangers backline which seen Jota mercurially latch onto the ball ahead of McGregor.

The flamboyant Portuguese winger rolled the ball home from a greatly tight angle to score the goal which practically secured Celtic the title:

The visitors did get one back however it wasn’t enough.

Despite a performance that wasn’t up to Celtic’s usual standard, the Bhoys still made tasted sweet victory.

Now 12 clear, it is hard to see them being pegged back.
