Celtic are at the halfway point of a quarter-final clash with Dundee United at Tannadice.

The Hoops are looking to join Hibs, Hearts and the other team in Glasgow in the last four of the Scottish Cup.
Dundee United looked set up tonight to sit back and frustrate the Bhoys but the game was open in the first half with the game moving end to end but with Celtic looking the more equipped to go and score.
And in the twelfth-minute Celtic captain, Callum McGregor hit this shot after a short corner for it to be deflected in to give the Hoops a 1-0 lead.

Celtic looked in cruise control after the goal but Reo Hatate went into a tackle on the half-hour that had the Celtic fan’s heart in their mouths but John Beaton only issued a yellow. The Japanese International is guilty of trying too hard but tonight’s ref doesn’t need any temptation sent his way.
Reo’s teammate Maeda had the ball in the net on 35 minutes but the goal was ruled out after a Giakomakis handball in the build-up which was harsh looking at the replays.
One-nil to Celtic at halftime after a dominating first half but that second goal is badly needed to calm the nerves.
