Celtic are in Dingwall today trying to re-establish a six-point gap at the top of the table before the second-placed team visit Paradise next Sunday.

It only took a little more than ten minutes for the first goal to go in when the all too familiar Jota and Kyogo partnership synced up to give the Hoops an early lead.

The Bhoys look well up for this today after last week’s semi-final Scottish Cup loss. Carl Starfelt had the next best chance on twenty minutes when he headed wide from a corner.

Celtic should have been two up just before the 40th minute after the County keeper spilt a Matt O’Riley shot into the path of Kyogo but somehow Furuhashi blasted the ball right at Laidlaw.

Three minutes later and the Staggies keeper was at it again, this time saving a well hit volley from Maeda from a few yards out.

Ross County have offered nothing in front of goal in the first forty five but a one-nil lead will offer them encouragement for the second half when the game should be beyond them.
