Brendan Rodgers decision to stick with Scott Bain for cup games certainly paid dividends today as the shot-stopper stepped up to the plate to keep a narrow Celtic lead intact.
Celtic should have left the field of play with a few goals notched up. Bain’s opposite number managed a penalty save from Scott Sinclair. Not to be outdone, Scott managed a string of saves right before the half time whistle.

Celtic are looking to keep a “Treble Treble” dream alive today and Scott Bain has made sure he has lent a hand or two in keeping them ambitions alive. Celtic will look to get that second goal cushion in the second half as quick as possible.
Bain will be looking to keep a clean sheet and establish himself as Brendan Rodgers No.1. Craig Gordon’s kick out’s in the last Glasgow Derby gave Celtic fans a dose of anxiety attacks they can be doing without.
Always liked bain he more confident than Gordon is he a heart attack waiting to happen when he gets baw fae back he cannae kick a baw either
