Numerous Celtic players have been and continue to turn out for their countries over the current international break. Luis Palma is one of those.
The winger started for Honduras in the early hours of Saturday morning. His nation eventually won by two goals to nil against Mexico in what was a rather notable victory.
Palma himself didn’t get on the scoresheet, but he helped set up Honduras’ opener. Receiving the ball out wide, the 23-year-old played a sublime chipped pass through the lines for Getafe forward Anthony Lozano to score from:

At least this season, Palma continues to go from strength to strength. He is continually scoring goals and assisting, which is only positive for Celtic. The Honduran internationalist loves to do well in the big games, too, and this is proved by his Champions League exploits this season.
His presence in the team has undoubtedly softened the blow of Jota’s departure, and Palma’s flair and skill levels are up there with the now Al-Ittihad man’s.
