Alexandro Bernabei brought Celtic back on level terms with a brilliant finish against Athletic Club.

The goal came as a result of an excellent move from Celtic, involving both David Turnbull and Matt O’Riley. Turnbull initiated the move, threading a pass through to O’Riley, who then masterfully set up Bernabei. The Argentine made no mistake in capitalising on the opportunity, driving the ball past the goalkeeper and through his legs to even up the scoreline.

While Bernabei’s finish was superb, it was the assist from O’Riley that truly made the play. The midfielder’s exceptional touch and vision in setting up the goal were indeed a touch of class and a testament to his growing influence in Celtic’s midfield.

This goal will be a sigh of relief for many Celtic fans. After several changes at half-time, there were concerns that the game might lose its momentum and flow. However, Bernabei’s strike, combined with the team’s overall performance in the second half, has managed to keep the pace of the game intact.
