BRENDAN RODGERS has spoken ahead of Celtic’s tie against Livingston this afternoon at the Tony Macaroni stadium.
The big news coming out this morning was the inclusion of James Forrest in the Celtic starting XI. It has ignited debate around the Celtic winger, and the summer transfer window. A lot of fans asking why James is getting the nod with wingers sitting on the bench who were brought into the club this summer to contribute.
Brendan Rodgers was asked about James Forrest’s inclusion pitchside at the Tony Macaroni and gave his reasons for picking the Scottish winger.

It might not be ideal to have to play James in this game, but some of the reactions have been over the top to say the very least.
Celtic are looking to put major pressure on the chain pack by putting another three points on the board this afternoon, if James can contribute to that, we’d be delighted for him.
