There wasn’t a nervier place in Scotland on Saturday afternoon than Hampden Park as Celtic’s cup semi-final with Aberdeen went to penalties following a 3-3 draw after extra-time.

Joe Hart saved what turned out to be the decisive kick, redeeming himself for his previous miss in the shootout.

Indeed, before the spot-kicks were taken, though, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was lively in the dugout.

The players gathered around the technical area after the full-time whistle was blown as they prepared for the shootout.

To the left of the group, Paulo Bernardo could be seen talking to a member of the Celtic backroom staff.

Visibly annoyed, Rodgers noticed this and soon told the member of staff to leave the Portuguese midfielder alone and let him join the group:

What Bernardo was being told remains to be seen but he thankfully did score his penalty, squeezing the ball past the imposing Kelle Roos.

All of Celtic’s outfield players that took penalties scored and although Hart rattled the post, he atoned for his miss with a colossal save to send his team into the May final.
