Brendan Rodgers brought a touch of festive joy to the town of Lennoxtown as he participated in the annual Christmas lights switch-on ceremony.

Joined by several pupils from Lennoxtown Primary School, Rodgers played a key role in the ceremony, turning on the lights after the countdown.

This wasn’t his first time at the event; he had previously assisted in the lights switch-on in 2016.
The festive period is a busy time for Celtic, playing at the weekend and then midweek pretty much right through the month until the January break.
It could be a key time for Rodgers’ side, who will require the whole squad to step in and play a part.
For the players and coaches, they won’t be able to fully indulge in the Christmas activities, especially spending the 25th at Lennoxtown and then a hotel before facing Dundee on Boxing Day.
