Celtic stormed to a vital 2-1 win over city rivals Rangers on Saturday afternoon as the title was all but wrapped up.

The Bhoys were dominant against the Gers, putting in an intense performance which warranted more goals.

Despite missing a penalty, Matt O’Riley was the star of the show with a goal and Man of the Match display. John Lundtsram also made headlines, but for all the wrong reasons as he scored into his own net and got sent off.

A brilliant video emerged yesterday of Greg Taylor ensuring Mohamed Diomande didn’t get the ball to give Rangers a fast start after the Celts went 2-0 up and now, an equally amusing clip of captain Callum McGregor has surfaced.

In the first half, Tom Lawrence tripped up the Celtic skipper needlessly. McGregor immediately rose to his feet and laughed in the face of the Welshman, appearing to sarcastically quip ‘Is that you the new hardman, aye?’:

When Scott Brown left the Hoops a few years ago, many feared the team would lose an added edge on the pitch but in McGregor, they have a similarly fierce leader who knows exactly how to act and deal with Glasgow derbies.
