CELTIC beat Hibernian 2-0 on Wednesday evening at Celtic Park without really getting out of second gear. The bhoys strolled the game at times against a side who usually cause much more problems.

There was no fire from the Edinburgh side and while Celtic weren’t at their scintillating best, they more than done enough to deserve all three points.

Celtic’s passing and movement at times was fantastic with Oli Burke running his legs off all game.

Hibernian pressed the bhoys high like many sides have done to us this season but with Bain being able to pick out a pass and Callum McGregor playing in a deeper role to take the ball out of Celtic’s half and spread the play worked very well.

It was goals from Ryan Christie and Oli Burke which sealed the victory but it was a real team performance which means Celtic keep their six-point lead at the top of the SPFL table.
