CELTIC goalkeeper Conor Hazard was sent off for his country after a horror collision with Romanian player Dennis Man in Norther Ireland Under 21s Euro 2021 qualifier.

In the 34th minute of the game the Celtic youth goalkeeper came sprinting out of his goals like a man possessed and challenged for the ball way outside the box – resulting in a horrible head collision between the two players.

Conor has had his eye on the ball but it is reckless to say the very least.

Northern Ireland fell to a 3-0 defeat on the night and had to do without Conor for the majority of the game.

Hazard, 21 is contracted to Celtic until 2021 having signed a long term deal back in 2017. The Northern Irish international will want to forget this game in a hurry after his bad decision.

The challenge didn’t need to be made and he will certainly have to learn from this.
